MALVERN, Penn. — January 23, 2008 — Greencastle Consulting, a project management and consulting services firm focused on clinical transformation through healthcare information technology, has announced that Hamish A. Stewart-Smith, has been promoted to partner. In his new role, Stewart-Smith will lead projects for healthcare clients, in addition to identifying and cultivating new partnerships.
“As a partner, I will continue to be responsible for our alliance with Christiana Care Health System and other key clients, while driving strategic internal business processes within the firm,” said Stewart-Smith. “Ultimately, my main effort will be to continue to provide leadership for Greencastle teams through superior consulting methods for change management, process improvement and project management.”

Smith joined Greencastle in 2001 as a management consultant. He was promoted to senior management consultant in 2002. He also served as an officer in the United States Air Force from 1988 to 1999 and is a graduate of the USAF Academy. The announcement was made in November 2007 at the company’s 10th anniversary celebration at the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia. Stewart-Smith began his new role January 1, 2008.
