MALVERN, Penn. — July 11, 2007 — Greencastle Consulting, a project management and consulting services firm focused on clinical transformation through healthcare information technology, today announced that Denise Hammel-Jones, MSN, RN, BC has joined the company as a clinical management consultant. In her new position, Hammel-Jones will work as part of a collaborative team that plans, coordinates and manages the successful completion of high complexity clinical technology projects for acute and ambulatory health providers.

In her previous roles, Hammel-Jones has worked with some of Philadelphia’s largest healthcare and nursing organizations and managed projects internationally. She has been responsible for managing and maintaining those institutions’ mission critical clinical applications – addressing everything from regulatory issues to patient safety to electronic medical records.
Prior to joining Greencastle Consulting, Hammel-Jones worked for Catholic Health East as a manager of Meditech clinical applications. While there, she managed house-wide clinical implementations and corresponding staff at five live hospitals on the East coast. Before that, Hammel-Jones worked as a senior analyst and later a manager of acute clinical applications such as Eclipsys, Wellsoft and Vergence for Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
